São bem conhecidas as tradicionais "pinturas à óleo", "acrílicas", assim como "aquarelas", as "técnicas mistas" e outras. Nessa exposição apresento a "infogravura" ou "arte digital". Quero evidenciar o trabalho de arte por computador – Pintura Digital. A diferença, a beleza, além da novidade que o trabalho de arte feito com computador, pode realizar.
Há algum tempo uma amiga me contestou dizendo que, certa vez quando visitávamos uma exposição, eu havia dito que não entendia porque o artista tinha usado determinada ferramenta em vez de usar... sei lá o que. Na verdade o que eu quiz dizer era que, para se fazer um desenho com material diferente do comum mas cujo resultado é tão parecido com o tradicional, porém, menos nítido e menos preciso e além disso muito mais difícil de ser feito, não seria muito mais fácil, faze-lo com "lápis" mesmo?
Quanto ao fator "reproduções", (cópias)? Assim como é de praxe com as "silkscreen", "xilogravura", múltiplos de esculturas, etc, também se pode fazer o mesmo: destruir o arquivo originário do trabalho e pronto! Na verdade, o que vem acontecendo no mundo a esse respeito é que está se estipulando ser aceitável até três cópias de cada obra se assim for combinado com o comprador da original.
Minha gente; Arte: capacidade que só o ser humano tem de por em prática uma idéia. Para is só é preciso criação. CRIATIVIDADE!

The traditional oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, and those of "mixed techniques" are already well known. In this exhibition I present the " computer raving ", or "digital art". I want to give emphasis to the art work done with the computer _ the uniqueness, the beauty, not to mention the novelty that a work of art made in a computer brings in itself.
Some time ago a friend challenged me saying that, as we once saw another artist's show I had said I didn't understand why someone would use a certain computer tool instead of using... "Whatever else". What I really meant was: "Why make a drawing with a unusual tool with almost the same result as the traditional one, only with less definition and precision, besides being so much harder to make? Why not use... a simple pencil, for instance?"
As far as "reproductions" (copies) are concerned, as it is usually done with silk-screens, xylographs, sculpture multiples, etc., we can do the same: destroy the original file, and that's it.
Actually, the discussion that is going on in the world today is about whether it is acceptable to have up to three copies of each art piece made, provided that is previously settled with the buyer of the original one.
Common, friends! Art is the capacity that only human beings have of putting an idea into practice. That requires creating. Creativity!
